Rugs Creation(India) is a family business that began its journey in 1990. Nestled in heart of the capital of MUGHAL EMPIRE, King Akbar's Kingdom Fatehpur Sikri (City Of Victory).
 

Rugs Creation(India)'s history dates back to the nineties. It is a story of a young and ambitious man, Arun, who at the tender age of 20 fantasized about setting up a handloom business. But, his vision was not without challenges. Hailing from a family of goldsmiths, and being the eldest son, it was presumed that Mr. Arun would take his family business forward. His father expressed dismay at his idea. He took a small loan from his mother and thus began his journey. He rented a small room in the narrow lanes of Fatehpur Sikri and started to weave his vision into reality  Soon after he began to work with a few looms and two weavers. He marked his beginning with the creation of beautiful rag rugs and started to export to the USA becoming the first handloom exporter from Fatehpur Sikri.

He then never looked back and started to flourish, from a small one-room story to a factory in the heart of the city providing livelihood to many artisans. He was the first to bring the paddle rug technique to Fatehpur Sikri and with his efforts, it bloomed in the local market.

Rugs Creation(India) continues to create rugs for more than 30 years now that are a perfect blend of heritage and creativity, tradition and modernity, innovation and sustainability. It is the first company in Fatehpur Sikri to be GRS, SEDEX, and OCS certified.
It is committed to the motive of 'Revival'.
